The County of Perth is working with the non-profit, eDemocracy Network, to help facilitate an online engagement process on the Ethelo platform as well as an offline process around the community.
Ethelo is an impact oriented Canadian tech company that specializes in public engagement processes working with local governments and non-profit organizations.
The eDemocracy Network is Ethelo’s sister organization that works to ensure fair, equitable and inclusive public processes. Their goal is to empower people to play a more meaningful role in democracy and decision making.
The County of Perth is a rich agricultural community, diverse in its heritage and culture. We are located in the centre of Southwestern Ontario and consist of thriving communities.
The four member municipalities are the Municipality of North Perth, the Municipality of West Perth, the Township of Perth East, and the Township of Perth South. The City of Stratford and the Town of St. Marys operate under their own municipal governments that are independent from the county’s government.
